How to cut /store our cakes.
Here we have a 6 inch Lemon Cake and I've cut 18 slices from it.
A 6 inch cake is the perfect cake for an intimate family celebration.
Not only will you have plenty to eat on your special occasion, you will also have left overs for the days to come to eat as a treat for those cheat days!
Let's begin :
Cut the cake into *3 equal parts*. Then cut each part into 3 slices *as the picture shows*.
Finally, divide each slice into 2 sections.
My father always says: "when something is really good, if you have too much of it you will not enjoy it" .
Here is how to store your cake so that you can enjoy it for days to come.
Storing your cake:
Wrap each cake individually with cling film. Make sure that it is well wrapped.
Preferably wrap it twice. Place it inside a plastic container and freeze it. It can be frozen up to 3 months.
Once defrosted, do not refreeze.
This is the fun part 💜
When you're ready to eat it again, remove it from the freezer at least 2 hours before consuming. Do not unwrap it until it is fully defrosted.
Grab some fresh cream (you can brighten it up with some fresh fruits such as strawberries, blueberries or whatsoever you fancy), pour it on your cake et voilà (it means "and there you go" in French 😍).
The fresh cream combines well with any of our cake flavours.
Enjoy your cake, and once you've enjoyed it, leave us a Google review.
All you need to do is type: Felisbella Cakes on Google and click the review section.
Thank you and we look forward to making a unique and delicious cake for your unique day.
